With growing awareness around e-waste, plastic, and municipal waste management, several companies have emerged as key players driving this green revolution. Here’s a look at some of India’s prominent recycling companies and their FY25 performance.

E-Waste Recycling

1. Namo eWaste

Namo eWaste Management Ltd is a publicly traded company on the NSE SME platform in India. It is a player in the growing e-waste recycling stock sector. The company had a strong IPO debut in September 2024 and raised ₹51.2 crore, with its stock price showing volatility since listing, trading around ₹203-₹210 as of mid-October 2025. Namo eWaste focuses on the collection, dismantling, and recycling of electronic products. 

Namo eWaste Management's major clients are a mix of large corporations and government agencies, but their specific names are not publicly disclosed. However, the company has worked with major tech brands like Apple, HP, Lenovo, and Dell for IT asset disposition and refurbishing services. It's also clear that a significant portion of their business comes from corporate and government sectors due to their work on data destruction, secure disposal, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) initiatives. 

2. Ecoreco

Eco Recycling Ltd. (ECORECO) is a public company on the BSE and NSE that is a key player in India's e-waste management sector. While it operates in the recycling industry, the broader ecosystem of recycling-related stocks includes a variety of companies focused on different waste streams like e-waste (e.g., Attero Recycling), general waste management, and resource recovery, and its stock is currently trading at approximately ₹598 per share with a market capitalisation of around ₹1,154 Crores. 

Ecoreco is among India’s oldest organised e-waste recyclers, offering IT asset disposal, data destruction, and material recovery. Its consistent growth reflects rising corporate compliance in waste handling.

Ecoreco serves a diverse range of clients from both the public and private sectors, rather than relying on a small number of "major" clients. The company's customer base for e-waste management includes Multi-National Corporations (MNCs), government departments, and educational institutions. 

3. Organic Recycling Systems Ltd

Organic Recycling Systems Ltd is a company focused on organic waste management, and its position in the Indian recycling stock ecosystem is growing alongside other players like Gravita India, Ganesha Ecosphere, and Eco Recycling Ltd. The "recycling stock ecosystem" includes companies with various specializations, from metal and plastic to e-waste and organic waste, each with unique business models and market positions. 

The company is specialised in organic and biodegradable waste treatment. The company’s strong revenue growth shows increasing adoption of sustainable disposal systems.

Metal Recycling

1. Gravita India

Gravita India Ltd. is a prominent player in the Indian metal recycling stock ecosystem, primarily known for its large-scale lead recycling operations.  It is a key company in the "waste-to-wealth" segment due to its extensive capacity, strong profit growth, and strategic investments in diversifying its recycling verticals.

The company is focused on expanding its recycling portfolio with initiatives under Vision 2029, which includes exploring new verticals such as lithium, steel, rubber, and paper. Gravita aims for more than 50 percent of value-added products, over 30 percent of non-lead business, and a reduction of more than 10 percent in energy consumption. By FY2028, the company plans to increase its recycling capacity to 700,000 MTPA from the current 333,659 MTPA, supported by a capex of over Rs. 1,500 crore. 

Gravita has a strong international presence across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and America, ensuring competitive raw material sourcing. The market cap of the company is  Rs. 11,510.43 crore, with its stock trading at a current market price of Rs. 1,559.50.

Major clients of Gravita India Ltd include Panasonic, Tata Batteries, Exide, Amara Raja, Schneider Electric, and TVS. The company's diverse client base consists of battery manufacturers, industrial product manufacturers, and chemical producers who purchase recycled lead and its alloys, aluminium alloys, and other recycled materials. 

2. Baheti Recycling Industries

Baheti Recycling Industries is a small-cap company focused on aluminium recycling, positioning it as a niche player in the growing Indian recycling and waste management stock ecosystem. The company is considered a key player in its segment due to sustainability-driven demand and shows good profitability with a strong return.

The company focuses on aluminium recycling and metal recovery, contributing to India’s circular manufacturing ecosystem.

Major clients of Baheti Recycling Industries include major steel and automotive companies like ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, and Minda Corporation, as well as companies such as Tata Steel, Sigma Electric, Sunflag Iron & Steel Co. Ltd, and others like Shiram Piston and Usha Martin fans. The company also exports products to countries including Japan, Canada, the USA, China, Hong Kong, the UAE, and Taiwan. 

3. Nupur Recyclers

Nupur Recyclers is a small-cap, non-ferrous metal recycling company that operates within India's broader, fast-growing recycling ecosystem. As a publicly listed company, it is one of several players competing in a sector driven by increasing sustainability initiatives and supportive government policies. 

Despite a dip this fiscal, Nupur remains a key player in ferrous and non-ferrous scrap recycling. The decline may reflect global metal price fluctuations.

1. GRP Ltd (Gujarat Reclaim and Rubber Products)

The company is primarily known for its world-leading reclaimed rubber products but has expanded into engineering plastics and other recycled polymer products. There is no information to indicate that GRP Ltd is involved in the recycling of PET bottles.

The company has approvals from seven of the top ten global tyre manufacturers and four of the top five non-tyre rubber product manufacturers, demonstrating its client base includes large, well-established companies in various industries. 

2. Tinna Rubber and Infrastructure

EMS Ltd's major clients are government bodies at the state and central levels, as it is an engineering and construction company that works on water supply and sewerage projects. Examples of recent projects are for the Hathras Town and Dehradun projects, which fall under the scope of the Namami Gange Program and the reduction of infrastructure losses, respectively. 

2. Antony Waste Handling Cell

Antony Waste Handling Cell (AWHCL) is a leading Indian waste management company that handles plastic, PET, and tyre recycling as part of its broader services. While their main focus is on municipal solid waste management, including collection, transportation, and processing, their commitment to the "3Rs" (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) includes comprehensive waste segregation and processing to maximise resource recovery and create circular solutions. They process waste into energy and are involved in converting waste into green energy. 

Antony Waste Handling Cell's major clients are municipal corporations and development authorities across India, with clients including the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Other clients include the Nagpur, Nashik, and Jhansi Municipal Corporations, as well as the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. 

3. Urban Enviro Management Ltd
