1. Mukesh Ambani & family: 9,55,410

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani topped the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025. He became India's richest person with a wealth of ₹9.55 lakh crore, despite a 6 percent year-on-year decline in his net worth.

2. Gautam Adani & family: 8,14,720

Gautam Adani remains India's second-richest man in the Hurun India Rich List 2025 with Rs 8.14 lakh crore wealth, despite a sharp 30% decline.

Adani is chairman of the Ahmedabad-based Adani Group with interests in ports, airports, power generation and transmission, green energy, edible oils, cement, and real estate, among others.

 

3. Roshni Nadar Malhotra & family: 2,84,120

Roshni Nadar Malhotra & family made a historic debut in the top three with a net wealth of INR 2.84 Lakh Cr. She became India's wealthiest woman.

Based on the recent Hurun India Rich List 2025, Cyrus S. Poonawalla and his family are ranked fourth, with a wealth of INR 2.46 lakh crore. They are the heads of the Serum Institute of India, an Indian biotech company that is the largest vaccine manufacturer in the world, and Poonawalla Fincorp, a leading NBFC in India.

According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Kumar Mangalam Birla and his family hold the 5th position among the wealthiest individuals in India. They also ranked as the second most valuable family business in the Barclays Private Clients Hurun India Most Valuable Family Businesses List 2025. 

Kumar Mangalam Birla is an Indian billionaire businessman. He is the chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, one of the largest conglomerates in India. He is the chancellor of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, and former chairman of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.  

 

6. Niraj Bajaj & family: 2,32,680

According to the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025, Niraj Bajaj and family ranked as the sixth richest in India. They also topped the list of biggest gainers in terms of wealth, experiencing a 43% increase. 

Niraj Bajaj is the President of the Alloy Steel Producers Association and the Indian Stainless Steel Development Association. He is on the Board of Directors of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co.

 

7. Dilip Shanghvi: 2,30,560

Dilip Shanghvi is a prominent figure on the Hurun India Rich List. He is the 7th richest person in India.

Azim Premji & family are recently featured in the Hurun Rich List 2025. They ranked 8th with a net worth of INR 2.21 lakh crore and a 16% increase in wealth. The Bengaluru-based family, known for Wipro, has seen their wealth grow significantly over the past year.  

Azim Hashim Premji is an Indian businessman and philanthropist who was the chairman of Wipro Limited. Premji remains a non-executive member of the board and the founder chairman. He is informally known as the Czar of the Indian IT Industry.

 

9. Gopichand Hinduja & family: 1,85,310

Gopichand Hinduja & family, with a wealth of ₹1.85 lakh crore, have once again topped the list of the richest non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025. He is in the 9th position.

Gopichand Parmanand Hinduja is an Indian-British billionaire businessman controlling the Indian conglomerate Hinduja Group. For many years, he was co-chairman with his brother Srichand "S. P." Hinduja, who died in May 2023. 

 

10. Radhakishan Damani & family: 1,82,980

Based on the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025, Radhakishan Damani and his family ranked tenth among the wealthiest individuals and families in India. Their estimated net worth was Rs 1.83 lakh crore. 

Radhakishan Damani is a billionaire Indian businessman and investor, known as the founder and chairman of the retail chain DMart (owned by Avenue Supermarts Ltd.).
